Here is a real example of a CF within a CF.
The University of Ottawa, for its undergraduate curriculum wishes to adopt and extend CanMeds by adding a new role: "person." uOttawa wishes to use all of CanMeds, as-is, but add to it.
This could be accomplished within the CF document for the "uOttawa Framework" by including the following relations:
- uOttawa-CF broaderthan CanMeds-CF
- uOttawa-CF broaderthan Person-CO
- Person-CO broaderthan [sub-competencies of Person]
The uOttawa framework document would not have to re-state all the COs and relations contained within CanMeds.
