Capturing and analyzing the learning context around a VP case
The vision of the XAPI is that all a learners learning activities, such as lectures, seminars, books and articles read, clinical experiences, etc are captured to an LRS. By adding a learners journey through a Virtual Patient Case to this dataset, subsequent analysis might be able to identify patterns that relate actions within the VP case with particular contextual activities. This would help authors in refining case and devising new ones. There lies the opportunity for unexpected linkages to be discovered and genuine surprises to be had.
