Note that the term 'Virtual Scenarios' (VSs) as used here is slightly different from the term as used by the WAVES Project group (Widening Access to Virtual Scenarios), who regard VSs as being more similar to Virtual Patients, but not necessarily medical. We agree that branching VPs can be used to portray any algorithmic learning pathway.
In this Profile 5, we are referring to Virtual Scenarios as being a broader set of learning activities, using a blend of simulation types as necessary.
