I did pull together the Learning Resources before I got swamped (see those below).  I’m not certain in what context I was thinking for the instructional methods or assessment methods.  But I think we discussed how we tracked patient consent.  We have to keep all of our patient consent forms in a secured database outside of our course and media repositories, so we reference the id number, by using the Relation field.  Unfortunately, there is no direct way to actually link these resources due to this restriction of access.

Relation.kind: requires-release

Relation.resource.identifier.catalog: Registry

Relation.resource.identifier.entry: (Object’s general.identifier.entry or UID)

Relation.resource.description: Title and/or brief description of referenced resource

Note: Attach release forms related to the resource or any of its content for use.

The list of learning object resources below is used in conjunction with IEEE LOM and Healthcare LOM.  This are offers multiple vocabulary selections.

We use healthcare’s participationModality to differentiate between technology based, print materials and conference/workshop items.

We have also considered adding more Social Media vocabulary with our new hiring of social media in e-learning position.

Instructional methods could have been the following:

Classification.purpose: educational objective (Enabling Learning Objectives).

Classification.purpose: learning outcome (Terminal Learning Objective).

The source for these areas allows the use of Bloom’s or Kirkpatrick’s taxonomies; enter terminology; id if applicable; description: write the TLO and ELOs;  and enter any keywords related to the TLO/ELO respectively.

This assessment area was created in response to a DoD need and lives in a hx:customElements area of the VA LOM.
